Lyrical and contemporary blend the technical foundation of ballet with expressive, free-flowing movement. Dancers learn to connect emotionally to music, telling stories through their bodies with fluidity and intention. This style emphasizes artistry, musicality, and personal expression — making it one of the most rewarding classes for dancers who love to perform.
Attire
- Form-fitting leotard or dance top
- Leggings or dance shorts
- Bare feet, paw’s, contemporary socks
- Hair secured away from face
What to Expect
Warm-up, technique exercises, across-the-floor combinations, and learning choreography. Students are encouraged to find their own movement voice.

Lyrical/Contemporary Combo - Wednesday: 6:00 - 6:30
Intermediate Lyrical/Contemporary Technique - Wednesday: 6:30 - 7:00
